Hubert Vaessen and his son-in-law Paul Schoemaker founded Vaessen-Schoemaker, pioneering techniques like phosphate binding—innovation that still defines the company.

The Bakery Squad was born at Vaessen-Schoemaker, perfecting dough and creating delicious sweet and savoury fillings.

Our plant-based journey began, delivering functional building blocks and tailored concepts for forward-thinking food producers.
