About the new facility

Vaess Agersol, an integral part of Vaess, Dutch food engineers, and the specialist in alginate solutions, officially opened the world’s largest alginate gel production facility in Stare Koźle, Poland!

With the opening of our new facility in Poland—the world’s largest alginate production site at 3300 m2—we are now better equipped to meet the demand for innovative alginate products. This expansion reinforces our commitment to both innovation and sustainability in the food industry.

With state-of-the-art technology and a steadfast focus on efficiency, sustainability, and food safety, our new facility exemplifies the future of food production at Vaess.

    A plant-based alternative with the perfect texture and melting properties of traditional cheese.

    A reduced-saturated-fat solution that mimics the texture and flavor of traditional animal fats, with a focus on sustainability and health.
  • Melting fat
    A cost-efficient, allergen-free alternative to palm and coconut fats, offering superior melting and taste during cooking.

    An innovative packaging solution that reduces plastic waste and enhances workplace safety while providing superior microbiological stability.
