Junior food technologist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior food technologist to join our dynamic R&D team. You will support the development and optimization of new and existing vegan and vegetarian products.

Your Key Role

• Assist in formulating and developing new vegan and vegetarian products;
• Conduct research on industry trends, raw materials, and competitor products;
• Support pilot trials and production tests;
• Collect and analyze data to assess product performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating and developing vegan and vegetarian products;
• Conduct research on industry trends, raw materials, and competitor products;
• Support pilot trials and production tests;
• Collect and analyze data to assess product performance and stability;
• Maintain detailed documentation, including trial reports and specifications;
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams;
• Assist in sensory evaluation and shelf-life testing of products;
• Maintain a clean and organized pilot plant environment.

Qualifications

• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree (or MBO4) in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field;
• Previous experience in a lab or product development environment is a plus;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities;
• Knowledge of the vegan and vegetarian food industry is a plus.
